Two DMS Students Receive the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans

Two students in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program of the Division of Medical Sciences have received the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans, as announced yesterday. They are among 30 New Americans who were selected from a pool of nearly 2,000 applicants!

The 2023 Class of Paul & Daisy Soros Fellows is made up of 30 outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants from all over the country and world who are pursuing graduate school here in the United States. Selected from nearly 2,000 applicants, each of the recipients was chosen for their potential to make significant contributions to the United States and will receive up to $90,000 in funding over two years.
